Brand System / Case Study
Serenica Brand Guide
What I wanted to solve
For Serenica, I wanted the identity to feel steady and approachable in the places where practitioners do everyday work. The brand needed to hold up in small interface details as well as more visible communications.
I put the logo, fonts, colors, and usage rules together in a digital guide. I wanted it to answer everyday questions: which logo should I use, what needs to stand out, and how do I keep a busy screen feeling calm?
My contribution
Brand design
I designed Serenica's branding, creating a calm, recognizable identity for independent practices.
Visual identity
I designed the logo system and chose the typography and color palette, with clear rules for spacing, hierarchy, and emphasis.
Brand applications
I developed the brand guide and showed how the identity carries across logo variants, favicons, and product examples.
What I focused on
- A logo for different sizes
- I designed full logos, a wordmark, and a compact mark so the identity has options for everything from a browser tab to a larger page header.
- Keeping the brand calm
- I used open layouts, generous spacing, and small amounts of accent color. I wanted the guide to explain how to create that feeling, not just describe it.
- Knowing what should stand out
- I kept strong accents for the things that need attention. If everything is emphasized, the important actions get lost.
How can a calm identity stay recognizable across a working product without making every screen feel heavily branded?
How the flow works
- 01
Choose the setting
Identify the available space, background, and reading distance.
- 02
Select the mark
Use a full logo, reverse version, wordmark, or compact mark.
- 03
Set the hierarchy
Use type and spacing to separate primary content from supporting detail.
- 04
Apply emphasis
Reserve accent color for the moments that deserve attention.
Why I designed it this way
Make the right logo easy to choose
I showed the primary, reverse, and wordmark versions together so their uses are easy to compare. I also included spacing guidance to keep the logo readable beside navigation, content, or another brand.
Logo guidanceKeep typography simple
I chose Inter for labels, body text, and headings. A few weights provide enough contrast between levels without adding more fonts or making every heading oversized.
TypographyShow the brand in use
I applied the identity to a favicon, URL preview, and operations card. These examples show how the branding can stay recognizable while leaving room for the information people actually need.
Application examplesA closer look at the designs

Looking back
I wanted Serenica to feel approachable without getting in the way of everyday work. The guide brings the identity and its practical rules together, so someone using the brand has more to go on than a logo and a set of colors.
